Our Flight to Ireland
This weekend we decided to
take the Cessna 172 away for the weekend. We took off from Fife Airport in Glenrothes and landed at
Weston Airfield in Ireland (a few miles east of
Dublin). The weather for flying wasn't great. In fact, a good part of the
trip was done in zero visibility and using instruments only. Stewart, Andy
and myself stayed at the
Fitzsimon's Hotel in Dublin which from what I
remember was a nice hotel. When checking out of the hotel I was asked to pay
for my meal the night before however, I couldn't remember the meal but had
to pay for it anyway. We took over 200 photos of which 138 of them made it
on to this page. Many thanks to Stewart for a great flight!
